On launch, if you get an error page with the message Access is denied, Error message 401.2, or auto-login fails, follow these steps:

  1. Open Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.
  2. Expand SERVER (SERVER\account) > Sites > Default Web Site.
  3. Click Layton ServiceDesk.
  4. Double-click Authentication.

  5. Check that Anonymous Authentication is Disabled:

  6. If you had to change it, restart IIS.
