Internet Information Services (IIS)

If not installed, e.g., you will be installing Layton ServiceDesk on a workstation or a laptop, install IIS in the Windows Components interface in Add or Remove Programs.

Allow ASP.NET Web Service Extension

The ASP.NET extension will need to be allowed in IIS. See here for steps.

.NET Framework 3.5

If this is not installed, download from here and install.

SQL Server

If you don't have any version of SQL Server installed, you can download the free SQL Server 2005 Express edition from here.
