Layton ServiceDesk - Troubleshooting - Disaster Recovery
From Layton Support

Overview
You can recover from a catastrophic failure if you have backed up your database and specific folders in the program folder. Most data is stored in the database but files are not. These are stored in the program folder. Refer to Backup for details on the backup process.
Restoring the Database
Using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, restore your database from backup. This must be done first because the application needs to point to the database on installation.
Restoring the Application
Virtual Server
If your Layton ServiceDesk application server is virtual, restore the latest snapshot.
Physical Server
Most likely the application is damaged, with program files missing, and will not launch. Do a Clean Reinstallation. If you need an older version of the installer, contact Support.
