  1. Open Server Manager.
  2. In the left-hand pane, expand Server Manager (SERVER) > Roles and select Web Server (IIS). In the right-hand pane under Role Services, scroll down to IIS 6 Management Compatibility.

  3. If IIS 6 Management Compatibility or any of its related roles are not installed, click the Add Role Services button at the head of the Role Services section.

  4. Follow the wizard to install IIS 6 Management Compatibility and its related roles. You may need to restart the server to finish.
