Overview

The Solution Tab is not visible by default on the End User Request form, but can be added.

Procedure

  1. As Analyst, go to Administration > Form Design > End User Request - FORM NAME.
  2. In the Toolbar, click the Add System Field button Lsd btn toolbar system 32px.png.
  3. On the System Field Properties page, select sys_solutiondesc from the DB Field menu.
  4. Enter a caption in the Caption field.
  5. Click the Save button Lsd btn save.png.
  6. The sys_solutiondesc field will appear at the top left of the form. Click it to open the System Field Properties page.
  7. A new option, Show On Tab is now available. Check it and click the Save button Lsd btn save.png.

The Solution Description field now appears as a tab, with the title that was entered in the Caption field.

Removal

  1. As Analyst, go to Administration > Form Design > End User Request - FORM NAME.
  2. Click the Solution tab.
  3. Click the Solution Setting link in the tab to open the System Field Properties page.
  4. Click the Delete button Lsd btn delete 24px.png.
