If an Analyst leaves your company or department they are very likely to have requests associated to them which would prevent their deletion. The persistence of their account is required for referential integrity but it also is highly unlikely that you will want all the associated requests to also be deleted.

However, you need to disable the Analyst in order to free up that licence for his/her replacement. The persistence of their account is required for referential integrity but it also is highly unlikely that you will want all the associated requests to also be deleted. However, you need to disable the Analyst in order to free up that licence for his/her replacement. Disabling an Analyst removes them from any Analyst-selection dialog and puts a licence back into the pool.

The above also applies to End Users.

To Disable a User

  1. Log in as an Administrator-level User
  2. Select Manage User within the Company Structure section
  3. Click the Settings icon for the analyst you would like to disable
  4. In the General Settings tab, change the Analyst Disabled setting to Yes.

Repeat this process for any other Analysts you would like to disable.

To Disable an End User

  1. Log in as an Administrator-level User
  2. Select Manage End User within the Company Structure section
  3. Click the 'Disable' tick box for the End User you would like to disable.
